The following Terms & Conditions relate to live presentations and have evolved over time to protect against bookings where a client changes a date or cancels an event, but in the process Rob has committed to a specific date and sometimes foregone another engagement.
Bookings
Once confirmation has been received for an engagement on a specific date, Rob will prioritise his diary to accommodate that presentation. At that point a confirmation invoice shall be issued to the client with the full fee payable.
Prompt Payment Discount
Clients who process Rob's invoice within seven days receive a 7.5% discount off Rob's presentation fee. (Please note: Full payment is required to confirm Rob's involvement in an event. The Prompt Payment Discount only applies when a client makes payment within seven days of receiving the confirmation invoice. Clients who take longer than 21 days to process an invoice risk Rob accepting another engagement.)
Cancellations
a) In the event of cancellation by the client more than 60 days before the engagement date, 50% of the presentation fee shall be refunded to the client.
b) In the event of cancellation by the client less than 60 days before the engagement date, no refund will be supplied.
c) Should The Kadre cancel a booking, all monies paid will be refunded to the client. An alternative speaker may be provided at the request of the client as an alternative to a refund.
Confidentiality
We understand and respect your need for confidentiality. Rest assured Rob will not discuss information provided during the pre-event briefing, or the event itself, with any third party.
Travel
a) When necessary, the client will meet the cost of one return air ticket from Coolangatta Airport (QLD) and will coordinate ground transfers to the presentation venue at the client's expense. For flight times exceeding two hours, Rob travels Business Class.
b) In some cases, depending on dates and availability, it may be possible to coordinate a presentation during another interstate/international trip. If this is the case, the client will not need to pay for Rob's air transport.
Accommodation
a) Accommodation: all meal and accommodation costs are to be met by the client, with the exception of phone calls and mini-bar charges.
b) Checkout arrangements: the client may be required to pay an extra night's accommodation if check-out arrangements are not supportive of Robs travel arrangements.
Copyright
Recording of Rob's presentation in part or in full by any means, including digital, audio and video, without prior written consent from The Kadre, is expressly forbidden under Australian Copyright Law.
Products
When hiring Rob to present at your conference or staff-development session, you can provide delegates with a tangible reminder of the experience by giving them copies of Rob's books. A 20% discount applies to any bulk-order purchase of Rob's products if made at the time of booking a specific presentation date.
